Provenance
In the art world, the term 'provenance' refers to the history
and origin of a work of art. Not only are the works of the
masters not immune to fraud, but in fact, the greater the value
of the art the greater the risk that the work in question is not
what it's being represented to be.
Which is why we always include a Certificate of Provenance with
every Giclée, printed on parchment paper, embossed with our unique
seal, and bearing the signature of Michael Starr. We also
keep very precise records about the original sale of each
individual work, so that it may be identified and traced to its
primary owner. Each of these security points would be
difficult to falsify individually, so collectively they provide a
level of assurance that few other galleries or artists offer.
When you deal with
Forever Beach, you always know where you stand. Should you ever
have a question about the authenticity of a work claiming to be
one of ours, we'll be happy to answer it, and will investigate
as thoroughly as may be necessary. Furthermore, 'Forever
Beach' is trademarked and its use is restricted. We
welcome your reports of any violations of our trademark that you
encounter.
